The listing is for 1x animal, of a large species of isopod (rolypoly/pillbug/woodlice). This species is well-known for its rough body surface, and contrasting blue/grey and yellow markings.
This is a special pedigree called "Lemon", which has been selectively bred for a mutation that increases the size of the yellow highlights and reduces the level of the body pigments. This results in a very pretty, bright-yellow pedigree.
These are CAPTIVE BRED in my collection, with this stock originating from Europe. When a group is purchased, the isopods sent will be an assorted mixture of ages and sizes, to ensure a good start to a breeding colony.
The isopods feed on a variety of forest materials such as decaying wood and leaf litter. Additional supplements such as calcium (limestone/cuttlefish bone) and fish food should be offered as part of their balanced diet.
